Bubblegum Alley

Amidst the beautiful and historic brick buidings of downtown SLO, just off Higuera St, between Broad and Garden, is Bubblegum Alley. Thousands and thousands of pieces of gum stuck on the walls of a small walkway. Seems a little gross, but this is a "college town"! Once you get past the initial "grossness" and can admire it for the pattern, texture and color...it's really quite cool!
Round the corner and here is what you will see...

Amazing patterns of color....

It's truly "Gum as Art"...
Emilee in Total Amazement!

This is definitely a must-see if you are in San Luis Obispo (how come I never saw this on Huell Howser???) Stay tuned for our next stop...Cambria.
